  1. Sir Thomas Green (c. 1461 – 9 November 1506) was a member of the English gentry who died in the Tower of London, where he had been imprisoned for treason. He is best known as the grandfather of Catherine Parr, last wife of King Henry VIII.

  5. Biography. He was the son of Sir Thomas Greene and Lady Margaret Webb. His father was created Knight Bachelor of the Realm by James I in 1622 at Windsor Castle . Thomas came over from England on the Ark and Dove expedition in 1634.

  6. He was sent to the Tower of London, accused of taking part in treasonable activity by the Yorkist heir, Edmund de La Pole. Sir Thomas apparently was cleared of the charge, but died before he could be released from prison, leaving a considerable estate to his two daughters.
