Spencer Compton, 1 er comte de Wilmington, (c. 1674 - 2 juillet 1743) est un homme d'État britannique whig qui est sans interruption au gouvernement de 1715 jusqu'à sa mort. Spencer Compton, 1st Earl of Wilmington, KG, KB, PC (1674–2 July 1743) was a British Whig statesman and Prime Minister of Great Britain. Compton served in government from 1715, and as the head of government from 1742 until his death in 1743.
