Spencer Frederick Gore (26 de mayo de 1878 - 27 de marzo de 1914) [1] fue un pintor británico de paisajes, escenas de music-hall e interiores, generalmente con una sola figura. Fue el primer presidente del Camden Town Group , [ 2 ] y fue influenciado por los postimpresionistas .

Spencer Frederick Gore (26 May 1878 – 27 March 1914) was a British painter of landscapes, music-hall scenes and interiors, usually with single figures. He was the first president of the Camden Town Group, and was influenced by the Post-Impressionists.
In his final years Gore organised and participated in important exhibitions in the development of modern British art, married Mollie Kerr and had a daughter and then a son (the painter Frederick Gore). One wonders how his art would have developed had his life not been so tragically cut short.
