Die St. George’s Chapel ist ein klassisches Beispiel für die englische Gotik mit ihrem perpendikularen Stil. Bis 1483 wurden die Chorscheiben und das Dach fertiggestellt. Im Jahr 1496 folgte das Kirchenschiff. Die Fertigstellung des Gewölbes dauerte jedoch bis 1528. Die Kapelle wurde zwischen 1921 und 1930 restauriert.

St George’s Chapel is open to visitors from 10am to 4pm via the Windsor Castle admission centre on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. Access to the Chapel may be limited after 2.30pm due to the current high number of visitors. Spending time soaking in the atmosphere of this wonderful building can be a very rewarding experience.
