Fresh flowers are always placed on the grave every week, the cost being met by the trust and members of Sir Winston’s family. St Martin's Church in Bladon near Woodstock, Oxfordshire, England, is the Church of England parish church of Bladon-with-Woodstock. It is also the mother church of St Mary Magdalene at Woodstock, which was originally a chapel of ease. It is best known for the graves of the Spencer-Churchill family, including Sir Winston Churchill, in its churchyard.
We visited ~St Martin’s to pay homage to Sir WInston who is buried with Clementine and his close family. St Martin’s in Bladon is quite difficult to get to because of lack of car parking so you need to plan for this.the Churchill Family Graves are very impressive and I understand it was Sir Winston’s wish to be buried ‘with the people’.
