We are an award-winning IAPS and HMC Pre-prep school and nursery for girls and boys aged 2-8, offering a warm welcome into the St Peter's School, York, family. We were named Pre-prep School of the Year and Independent School of the Year at the Tes Independent School Awards 2021.
St Peter's 2-8 (formerly known as Clifton Pre-Preparatory School and Nursery) is the pre-preparatory school to St Peter's School, a co-educational independent boarding and day school located in the English City of York, with extensive grounds on the banks of the River Ouse.

St Peter's 2–8 (formerly Clifton Pre-preparatory School) is the pre-prep school to St Peter's School, York. St Peter's 2–8 is located on the Upper Campus of the school, next door to the senior school which runs along the main road of Bootham in the centre of York .

There have been several developments over the Summer at St Peter's 2-8. The library space has had a makeover and there has been a new Year 2 classroom created within the outside space at the rear of the school.
