History | St Philip’s College. In 1945 the Reverend Harry Griffiths, who worked for the Methodist Inland Mission in Alice Springs, saw the need for a boarding facility for children of families living in remote areas in Central Australia who needed access to schools.

St Philip’s Christian College has a deep history of supporting the education of students from countries other than Australia. St Philip’s offers specialised support for international students, with a dedicated International Student Liaison Officer who works with students from overseas to ensure that their particular circumstances are looked after.
