Upon entering Whippingham village look out for a wooden bus shelter on the left hand side, at the junction of a turning on the left onto Beatrice Avenue. St Mildred's is the church of Whippingham Parish which used to extend to Shide (south of Newport) and North to the sea at East Cowes. The churches St Paul's Church, Barton and St James's Church, East Cowes were originally Chapels of Ease within the area of Whippingham Parish.

St Mildred’s, Whippingham, will have it’s 11.15 service followed by teas and coffees in the Church Centre. NOTE – REMEMBRANCE SUNDAY at both churches starts at 10.50 am. St Mildred’s Church ( Queen Victoria’s ) is NOW OPEN TO VISITORS ON MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS and THURSDAYS from 10am until 3.45pm UNTIL 31st Oct 2024.
