St Mildred's is the church of Whippingham Parish which used to extend to Shide (south of Newport) and North to the sea at East Cowes. The churches St Paul's Church, Barton and St James's Church, East Cowes were originally Chapels of Ease within the area of Whippingham Parish.

St Mildred’s Church ( Queen Victoria’s ) is NOW OPEN TO VISITORS ON MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS and THURSDAYS from 10am until 3.45pm UNTIL 31st Oct 2024.
