Stadthagen (German pronunciation: [ʃtatˈhaːɡən]) is the capital of the district of Schaumburg, in Lower Saxony, Germany. It is situated approximately 20 km east of Minden and 40 km west of Hanover.
Stadthagen ist die Kreisstadt des Landkreises Schaumburg in Niedersachsen, etwa 40 km westlich von Hannover. In ihrer Geschichte war sie Residenz- und kurze Zeit Universitätsstadt. Die Mittelstadt ist das Zentrum eines dicht besiedelten Ballungsraumes von ca. 70.000 Einwohnern.
