What the school says... Housed in a beautiful ducal palace, surrounded by 750 acres of historically significant landscaped gardens, Stowe provides a unique educational environment in which youth is celebrated rather than stifled, where creativity is prized and academic rigour encouraged.
Spritual Life. Stowe was established in a particular context of Christian Faith, as expressed through the Church of England. Protestant and Evangelical in its declared foundation, the School now embraces pupils, their families and the whole staff community who comprise many Christian traditions, as well as different Faiths and philosophies.

The Houses may be accessed until 9.00pm. Our Day Pupils attend School on Saturday until matches and activities finish between 3.00pm and 6.00pm. They are however welcome to join our Boarders for whole year events (such as discos), as and when they take place. For our Sixth Formers this includes participation in StoweBucks until 10.30pm.
