Hill House International Junior School is an independent preparatory day school primarily in the Knightsbridge district of London. It was founded in September 1949 by athlete and Liberal Party politician Lt-Col Stuart Townend with his wife, Beatrice, initially in Switzerland, but has since also established branches in South West London.
Stuart Townend (b. 1963, Halifax, West Yorkshire, England) is an English Christian worship leader and writer of hymns and contemporary worship music. Mr. Townend, son of a Church of England minister in Halifax, West Yorkshire, was the youngest of four children. Townend started learning to play the piano at age seven.
