The current train has not been updated much since the 1970s, and the Royal Family do often use public train services in place of their private transport. It currently has nine carriages, and includes bedrooms, a dining room, private saloons and a study, which the Prince of Wales has been known to use.
Royal Train. The Royal Train (Der königliche Zug) ist der Hofzug, der dem britischen Monarchen, seiner Familie und dem königlichen Hof zur Verfügung steht.
