While there’s no difference in the major plot lines, what makes this one worth watching all the same is the claustrophobic sense of conspiracy that only Cold War thinking could truly capture.

They just need to change the main actor, who looks and sounds like Anthony Jeselnik, but with none of the charisma, tune down the music a bit, structure the film better so that scenes have bigger stakes, make us connect to the world and characters, seriously flesh out the third act, explore the philosophical angles more, and actually expand on the ideas of the films ...
