To date, I've never been disappointed by a film directed by Clarence Brown, whose 52-film career spans the period from 1920 to 1952. With The Trail of '98, Clarence Brown presents an adventure film set during the Klondike Gold Rush in 1898, just thirty years before the film was shot.
