The Winds of War is a 1983 American war drama television miniseries, based on the 1971 novel of the same name written by Herman Wouk. It was produced and directed by Dan Curtis, while Wouk adapted his own novel to screen.

The Winds of War (en España: Vientos de guerra) es una miniserie de 1983, dirigida y producida por Dan Curtis, basada en el libro del mismo nombre escrito por Herman Wouk.
In January 1941, she marries Byron and devotes herself to getting her reluctant uncle out of Europe to escape the Nazis, soon discovering she is pregnant. All of the story lines are left as a cliffhanger as the United States is drawn into the war by the attack on Pearl Harbor.
