Theodor Uhlig (15 February 1822 – 3 January 1853) was a German violin-player, composer and music critic. He was the illegitimate son of Frederick Augustus II of Saxony.

During his time in the city, Wagner became firm friends with the composer and violinist Theodor Uhlig, the stage manager and chorus master Wilhelm Fischer, and the comedian and costume designer Ferdinand Heine.

Fils illégitime du roi Frédéric-Auguste II de Saxe 1, Uhlig était le fils officiel de Carl Gottlob Uhlig, corniste au bataillon d'infanterie à Wurzen.
