4 de feb. de 2008 · I gave this two stars because the prose was fine. Otherwise, the book was pointless. You don't know who the protagonist is supposed to be. All the characters were completely self-serving and, at times, grotesquely unlikable except for the daughter, who was unfathomable.

Theodora Keogh. She was a member of the Roosevelt family, born in New York City. She worked as a professional dancer in Canada and South America, but retired from this career in 1945. She wrote nine novels, which were published between 1950 and 1962. Her characters' personalities tended to have hidden dark sides.
