When Thomas Grey 2nd Marquess of Dorset was born on 22 June 1477, in Bashall Eaves, Yorkshire, England, his father, Sir Thomas Grey Marques of Dorset, was 27 and his mother, Lady Cecily Bonville, was 16. He married Margaret Wotton Marchioness of Dorset on 6 January 1509.
