Thomas Howard, 3rd Duke of Norfolk, KG, PC (1473 – 25 August 1554) was a prominent English politician and nobleman of the Tudor era. He was an uncle of two of the wives of King Henry VIII, Anne Boleyn and Catherine Howard, both of whom were beheaded, and played a major role in the machinations affecting these royal marriages.

Thomas Howard, 4th duke of Norfolk, (born March 10, 1538, Kenninghall, Norfolk, England—died June 2, 1572, London), English nobleman executed for his intrigues against Queen Elizabeth I on behalf of Mary Stuart, Queen of Scots, a Roman Catholic claimant to the English throne.
Thomas Howard Howard is widely known for his inimitable prose style. Howard received his B.A. in English Literature from Wheaton College, his M.A. from University of Illinois, and Ph.D. from NYU, in English Literature with a concentration in Medieval and Renaissance Studies.
