Thomas Lennard, 1st Earl of Sussex, 15th Baron Dacre, (13 May 1654 – 30 October 1715) was an English peer. He became Earl of Sussex in 1674 when he married Lady Anne Fitzroy, illegitimate daughter of Charles II and Lady Barbara Palmer .

The Baron Dacre title became abeyant in 1715 following his death.[1] Lennard was a supporter of cricket which developed into a major sport during his lifetime.

Biography. Thomas Lennard, 15th Lord Dacre, born in 1654 son of Francis Lennard & Elizabeth Bayning. Thomas Lennard married in Aug 1674 to Lady Anne Palmer at Hampton Court. [1] Children: Barbara born 12 July 1676 married Charles Skelton, she died in Paris in 1741. Charles bap 3 Jun 1682 at Windsor castle, died about 13 Mar 1683/84.
