Unit sales of TRATON Commercial Vehicles in 2022 went up to 306 (273) thousand vehicles and sales revenue of €39.5 billion was 31.3% higher than in the same period of 2021. Despite negative effects resulting from the Russia-Ukraine conflict, the operating result of €1.6 (0.2) billion was higher than in the previous year.

This is less than the cost of an electric truck, but over its lifetime a conventional model uses diesel fuel costing up to €500,000¹. Moving to electric trucks will lead to a huge reduction in energy costs and therefore in the total cost of ownership.
