Two Comrades Were Serving (Russian: Служили два товарища, translit. Sluzhili dva tovarishcha) is a 1968 Soviet war film directed by Yevgeny Karelov with a script by Yuli Dunsky and Valeri Frid. The film is about the Russian Civil War, in particular, the battle for the Crimean peninsula.

The Crimea Peninsula is the last stronghold of the White Guard, and the Red Army is planning the final assault. The first story line of the movie follows two Red Army soldiers: unlikely friends Nekrasov and Karyakin.
Two Comrades Were Serving takes place during the last few days of the fight for the Crimea of the Russian Civil War. It tells two parallel stories: the titular one, about a mismatched Red Army duo, thrown together by command and circumstances, and another, of a White officer, and the slow collapses of the world around him.
