On Saturday, May 13, the University of Minnesota's Class of 2023 attended Commencement, which featured CLA student speaker Aarohi Shah (remarks begin at 1:30:26) and CLA alumna Emilia Ndely-Ogundipe (remarks begin at 2:07:55). Details are sent from clacommence@umn.edu to the UMN email of graduating students. CLA celebrates Undergraduate Commencement once annually, at the conclusion of the spring semester. The ceremony in May 2024 will honor CLA graduates who attained or will attain their bachelor degree in Summer 2023, Fall 2023, Spring 2024, and Summer 2024.

The University of Minnesota is conducting a national search for the next dean of the College of Liberal Arts. A search committee has been named by the executive vice president and provost. The University has engaged Russell Reynolds Associates, a national search firm, to assist the search committee in the recruitment and screening of candidates.
