For entering freshmen, admission is based on: the submission of an application (the university’s application or the Common Application); completion of the required units of the Mississippi College Preparatory Curriculum (CPC); and. high school core grade point average and either an ACT or SAT test score.

Categories of Admission: Non-degree Seeking. Non-degree I** – Applicants with no intention to pursue or qualify for a graduate degree program and whose undergraduate grade-point average is below 2.7 will be admitted in this category. Enrollment is restricted to courses at the 400 level and below.
