  2. Overview. The Department of Philosophy offers programs leading to a PhD and to an MA. There are approximately 20 graduate students in residence at any time. Graduate seminars are small. Individual tutorials are frequently arranged.

  6. Graduate Program. Overview. The goal of the doctoral program is to form scholars who will contribute to the field of economics as top-notch researchers, instructors, and mentors. The program requires at least three years of full-time study. Most students remain in the program for five or six years.
