The Vassar curriculum has always been characterized by boldness, breadth, and flexibility. The “Intensives,” introduced in 2019, are the newest initiative a long tradition of long curricular innovation.
Toured the Vassar College Campus which included the Frances Lehman Loeb Art Center, the Chapel, and the Thompson Memorial Library. The massive stained-glass window that dominates the library’s interior space depicts Elena Lucrezia Cornaro Piscopia, the first woman to receive a doctorate in 1678 from the University of Padua in Italy.
