  5. Hace 4 días · The Crown conveyed the estates of the abbey to Edward Seymour, Viscount Beauchamp (later earl of Hertford and duke of Somerset), in 1536 and presumably recovered them on his attainder in 1552.

The holding of Bordesley Abbey in Binton was built up by a series of grants during the 13th century and became known as the manor of BINTON GRANGE. Between about 1215 and 1229 the abbot acquired the mill and island of Binton.
