Wendela Bicker (Amsterdam, baptized 30 December 1635 – 1 July 1668) was the wife of Johan de Witt. She was one of the richest young female commoners of her time and she married one of the most influential republican politicians in the Netherlands.
Wendela Bicker (of Bickers) ( Amsterdam, 30 december 1635 - Den Haag, 1 juli 1668) was de echtgenote van raadpensionaris Johan de Witt. Zij stamde uit het bekende Amsterdamse regentengeslacht Bicker . Wendela Bicker werd geboren als dochter van Jan Bicker en Agneta de Graeff van Polsbroek.

In 1655 Johan de Witt married Wendela Bicker, daughter of Johan Bicker and Agneta de Graeff van Polsbroek, who belonged to the inner circle of the powerful Amsterdam oligarchy. Through his marriage De Witt became a relative of the ruling patrician families Bicker , De Graeff , Hooft , Witsen , Boelens Loen , and Reynst among others.
In 1655, he married Wendela Bicker, daughter to a republican merchant and ship builder. Importantly, this connection made Cornelis de Graeff his uncle-in-law, who was the mayor of Amsterdam and had made de Witt Grand Pensionary of Holland in 1653, at an age of 28 only.
