Wilhelm Eduard Weber ( * 24 de octubre de 1804-23 de junio de 1891) fue un físico alemán. [1] Junto con Carl Friedrich Gauss fue inventor del primer telégrafo electromagnético. La unidad del Sistema Internacional para el flujo magnético, el Weber, (símbolo: Wb) fue bautizada en su honor.
