  6. The title then passed back to Uncle William, who thus became the 8th Duke of St. Albans. In 1791, William married Charlotte Thelwell, who died in 1797. He married again in 1799 to Maria Janetta Nelthorpe who gave him thirteen children. In 1825, William died at age 58.
