William Glynne Charles Gladstone (14 July 1885 – 13 April 1915) was a Liberal Party politician in the United Kingdom, and the last of four generations of Gladstones to sit in the House of Commons, the first being his great-grandfather Sir John Gladstone (1764–1851).

The Glynne-Gladstone Archive contains personal, family, business, and estate correspondence and papers of the Glynne and Gladstone families. The manuscripts date from c.1550 to 1973, although by far the greatest part of the collection dates from the nineteenth century.
Lt Gladstone is thought to have been the last soldier whose body was exhumed from france and repatriated to England. Following this, the idea of equality in death of all ranks and officers led to the Imperial War Grave Commision, becoming the commonwealth war grave commission.
William Glynne Charles Gladstone was the grandson of the great statesman and Prime Minister William Ewart Gladstone. He was recorded on a census for the first time in 1891. He was living with his family at ‘New Hall’, Hawarden, Flintshire.
