William Herbert (12 de enero de 1778 – 28 de mayo de 1847 ) fue un botánico, poeta, y clérigo inglés. Fungió como Miembro del Parlamento por Hampshire de 1806 a 1807, y por Cricklade de 1811 a 1812.

William Herbert, 1st Earl of Pembroke KG (c. 1423 – 27 July 1469), known as " Black William ", was a Welsh nobleman, soldier, politician, and courtier. [1] Life. He was the son of William ap Thomas, founder of Raglan Castle, and Gwladys ferch Dafydd Gam, and grandson of Dafydd Gam, an adherent of King Henry V of England.
SIR WILLIAM HERBERT, EARL OF PEMBROKE, was elder son of William Herbert of Raglan Castle, called also William ap Thomas, and in Welsh Margoah Glas, or Gumrhi, who fought in France under Henry V, and was made a knight-banneret in 1415.
