24 de abr. de 2024 · Through January 28, 2024, The Rossettis—a once-in-a-lifetime exhibition of more than 150 objects—illuminates this busy family: painter/poet Dante Gabriel Rossetti; his wife, artist/model Elizabeth Siddal; and siblings Christina, Maria, and William Michael Rossetti.
They would later convince James Collinson, Frederic George Stephens, Thomas Woolner, and Dante’s brother, William Michael Rossetti to join. Together, the seven men would make art and write essays in defense of their style. I’m doing a series of posts highlighting some paintings by the different members of the Brotherhood.

Nov. 24, 1876); Gabriel Charles Dante, who later called himself Dante Gabriel; William Michael; and Christina Georgina. All were born in London and baptized in the Church of England. The Rossetti family was a remarkable group.
