It is strongly associated with the English and succeeding British royal family, and embodies almost a millennium of architectural history . The original castle was built in the 11th century, after the Norman invasion of England by William the Conqueror.

Hace 3 días · Windsor was chosen to promote the heritage of new English settlers in the city and to recognize Windsor Castle in Berkshire, England. However, Richmond was a popular name used until World War II, mainly by the local post office.

Obviamente, Windsor Castle es seguramente la mayor atracción de Windsor en Inglaterra, y no es de extrañar, ya que se trata de uno de los castillos más famosos del mundo, y uno de los más bonitos que hemos tenido la suerte de visitar (en mi opinión!).
