29 de dic. de 2023 · Wolfgang was born on 26 September 1526 at Zweibrücken, the son of Duke Ludwig II and Elisabeth von Hessen, daughter of the Landgraf Wilhelm the Elder of Hessen. On 8 March 1545 at Kassel he married Anna von Hessen, the daughter of Landgraf Philipp von Hessen, and they had ten children, including his eldest son and heir Philipp Ludwig.

Count Palatine Wolfgang of Zweibrücken (German: Pfalzgraf Wolfgang von Zweibrücken; 26 September 1526 – 11 June 1569) was member of the Wittelsbach family of the Counts Palatine and Duke of Zweibrücken from 1532. With the support of his regent, his uncle Rupert (later made the Count of Veldenz), Wolfgang introduced the Reformation to Zweibrücken as early as 1537.
