Carol and Zizi Lambrino had one son, Mircea Gregor Carol Lambrino (8 August 1920 – 27 January 2006). Carol and the Romanian government continued to pay Lambrino's maintenance and that of her son in their French exile. Zizi Lambrino died in Neuilly-sur-Seine, near Paris, France, on 11 March 1953.

Biografía. Nació en Rumania el 3 de octubre de 1898, siendo su nombre real Joanna Marie Valentina Lambrino. Era hija de un mayor del ejército, Constantin Lambrino, y de Euphrosine Alcaz . En 1918, durante la Primera Guerra Mundial la corte se desplaza a Iaşi, alejándose del conflicto, allí se conocen y se enamoran Zizi y el heredero.
