26 de sept. de 2022 · The Riksdag has elected Andreas Norlén Speaker for the electoral period 2022–2026. He was elected by acclamation. Acclamation means that the members of the Riksdag react to a proposal by shouting "yes" or "no". The Speaker leads the work of the Riksdag and is ultimately responsible for how it is planned and conducted.
Andreas Norlén was elected Speaker of the Riksdag on 24 September 2018. Before that, he had been a member of parliament for Östergötland County for the Moderate Party since 2006. In the Riksdag, Andreas Norlén has been the Chair of the Committee on the Constitution, a member of the Committee on the Constitution
