Software Development. This is a list of some of the conceptual and experimental tools I am currently developing as part of my ongoing work on a new BIM application. My framework apps are being built around a back-end that is taking a lot of time and effort to get right, so those listed here are primarily demonstrative and/or educational in nature.

12 de feb. de 2015 · 3D Sun-Path. This app demonstrates the relationship between geographic location and solar position throughout the year. You can use the map to drag the location around and interactively see how the Sun-path diagram and shadow projections change. You can also directly relate location and the 3D Sun-path to day-length and a range of different 2D ...
I'm Dr. Andrew Marsh and this is a personal website that I use as a kind of on-line notebook and platform for some of my musings and experiments in building performance analysis, web development, computer programming, generative design and 3D visualisation.
15 de oct. de 2019 · Dynamic Daylighting. Of all my web-based apps, this is the first to come close to the original intent of a deeply interactive tool that addresses all the complexities involved in a particular design and analysis process. This app investigates real-time dynamic daylight analysis within a simple rectangular room based on detailed sky distributions.
Overview. The aim of this app is to let you dynamically interact with various two dimensional Sun-path diagrams. These diagrams all map the sky dome over either a rectangular chart (orthographic) or circular chart (polar), differing only in the location of the zenith point and the trigonometric relationship of each axis.
