Welcome to the Online Archive of the Arolsen Archives! The Arolsen Archives are an international center on Nazi persecution with the world’s most extensive collection of documents about the victims and survivors of National Socialism.
The new online archive is a huge milestone on the Arolsen Archives’ road to being an open institution that provides everyone free access to the “memory” of the victims of Nazism and their fates. Nevertheless, there was a lot of discussion about it before it went online.
