12 de dic. de 2022 · So, the Badniks became Scrapniks and (thankfully for Sonic) decided to abandon their former Sonic-killing programming and begin life anew on their Scrapnik Island. This reveal is a fun treat for all Sonic the Hedgehog fans as it adds an extra layer to an element of Sonic’s lore that has existed since the very first game.
The pseudo-realism of 06 didn't bother me that much. Pretty much every long-lived game series was like that in that era (look at SSB Brawl, Twilight Princess, Resident Evil, even Spyro) and I actually really dug the badniks and Egmman's look. Old Modern look is still best but this was fine.
