Bertrand Arthur William Russell, 3rd Earl Russell, OM, FRS (18 May 1872 – 2 February 1970) was a British mathematician, philosopher, and public intellectual. He had influence on mathematics, logic , set theory , and various areas of analytic philosophy .

2 de feb. de 2020 · 50 years ago today, at 97 years of age, Bertrand Arthur William Russell died. The Bertrand Russell Society wishes to take this occasion to mark and celebrate his legacy. Russell was a Nobel Laureate, a peace activist strongly opposed to nuclear armaments and the Vietnam War, and deeply concerned with the plight of humankind.
