Camilla has a younger sister, Annabel Elliot, and had a younger brother, Mark Shand. One of her maternal great-grandmothers, Alice Keppel, was a mistress of King Edward VII.

22 de abr. de 2024 · Major Shand was captured on 6th November 1942, during a battle in which the crew of his armoured car were both killed and Shand himself severely wounded. He was held in Spangenberg Castle until he escaped in early 1945.
