Born to poor parents, he was a prodigy of astounding depth. By his early teens he had already performed astonishing proofs.
Carl friedrich Gauss Nace el 30 de abril 1777 en el Principado de Brunswick y Wolfenbüttel, Alemania, sus padres: Gebhard Dietrich Gauss y Dorothea Gauss, quien fuera la segunda esposa de Gebhard. Nace en medio de la pobreza, sus padres no eran los más brillantes pero si muy trabajadores, la Sra. Gauss mujer de fuerte carácter, trabajó como criada antes de casarse.
Biography At the age of seven, Carl Friedrich Gauss started elementary school, and his potential was noticed almost immediately. His teacher, Büttner, and his assistant, Martin Bartels, were amazed when Gauss summed the integers from 1 to 100 instantly by spotting that the sum was 50 pairs of numbers each pair summing to 101.
In it, Gauss systematized the study of number theory (properties of the integers). Gauss proved that every number is the sum of at most three triangular numbers and developed the algebra of congruences. In 1801, Gauss developed the method of least squares fitting, 10 years before Legendre, but did not publish it.
