Charles Grey est le secrétaire militaire de la Reine Victoria ainsi que son majordome. Il travaille toujours avec Charles Phipps ; ils portent d'ailleurs le surnom de " Double Charles ". C'est un homme comique souriant la plupart du temps, mais est un redoutable combattant maniant l'épée à la perfection et n'hésitant pas à utiliser la violence si cela lui semble nécessaire.
