Chatsworth House might look like it will last forever – in fact it was purposefully designed to look this way - but like any building, it is fragile and requires constant care and attention. A review of the building's structure and services in 2004 showed that major renewal work was needed to improve access and enjoyment for visitors, and to secure Chatsworth for the future generations to come.

Hillside walkout design with an angled floor plan. With its stone-and-shake facade and angled courtyard entry, the Chatsworth house plan makes a dramatic opening statement. And the interior of this house plan does nothing to disappoint.

The garden is open from 10.30am-5pm during summer months and 11am-6pm (5pm last admission) at all other times.
