We managed to get on the last tour of the season. Tours of the Naval College need to be booked two weeks in advance, via the Tourist Office, as it is very popular. Photo ID is needed and bags are searched. Each tour has a maximum of 30 people.

However, strict security at this working military establishment means that you must book your place ahead of time and show photo ID before the tour commences.
