    • El milagro de Dunkerque. Así se bautizó la denominada Operación Dinamo, durante la cual más de trescientas mil tropas francesas, británicas, belgas y canadienses escaparon de la invasión alemana desde las playas cercanas a Dunkerque, entre el 29 de mayo y el 4 de junio de 1940.
