Born Sophie Helen Rhys-Jones on Jan. 20, 1965, Sophie was raised in Oxford by her parents, Mary and Christopher Bournes Rhys-Jones. Her mother was a charity worker and secretary, while her father worked as a sales director. Sophie attended Dulwich Preparatory School and Kent College before enrolling at West Kent College for security training.
