El escudo de la Federación de Rusia consiste en una superficie de color rojo intenso con un águila bicéfala dorada como blasón. En el pecho de la misma se puede ver el escudo de Moscú, también en fondo rojo con la imagen de san Jorge plateada que vence al demonio con su lanza.
